Post-Quarantine-Adjusting to the new normal

2020 has taken a toll on every single one of us. There is so much to handle right now. We are trying to find our rhythm in life and figure out what is happening all around us. I know this blog is called "Post-quarantine," and we haven't even got out of the quarantine. Some states have, but really, we are still in a pandemic. Now, whether you're a believer in this virus or not, I am not here to argue with you or try to convince you otherwise. My point is this, COVID-19 is here, and we have to adjust. What I can say is that WE ALL HAVE to adapt together. So it is not personal; it is a world-wide-thing. But we are trying to be as normal as possible and figuring out what our day to day activities look like. We still have a life to live. Things are starting to open back up. The economy is trying not to crash. So, we are trying to figure out what that looks like. What used to be familiar to us isn't exactly normal no more. So, how do we adjust to what 2020 has thrown at us? What is our new normal?

This might look different for each individual. It might even be uncomfortable. Matter of fact it is uncomfortable.

For me, I am really trying to figure out how to live out my purpose during this very confusing time. Am I where I'm supposed to be? How do I create this new environment? There are so many questions. I am on this journey on figuring out what post-quarantine truly means to me. Because I don't believe what was my normal prior to 2020 will ever be my normal ever again. So, what is my new normal? The plans, ideas, and activities that I once had now has to be adjusted.

Post quarantine might actually be harder to adjust to. Why? Because quarantine forced us to be still, pay attention, and change our routine. We had to be comfortable with being with ourselves and staying in our homes. Now that things are opening up, while I am excited, I am also scared because I actually enjoy being home and being still. I do not want to go back to being super busy. Post-quarantine is going to be something else that I have to adjust to.

Always remember to take the time to truly invest into yourself and figure out what it is that you need. As always, love you the way you love the world.

I love you all and I am rooting for you!!
