Finding Hope after the Pandemic, Revolution & Post Election

How the heck do we find hope during these times?

There's a global pandemic.

There's an ongoing global revolution.

People are continually getting shot.

We've lost so many lives due to COVID-19.

There is a massive separation in this country.

And I would be remiss if I didn't bring up this 2020 elections.

It is absolutely questioning times right now.

Let me tell you how I am getting through it.

Honesty, I put screen time on my phone, and I try to monitor my social media time. I started back reading. I follow a schedule and routine to the best of my ability. I stick to my off days. I take breaks. And now, I am trying to make it a habit to take a more extended break once a month or bi-monthly.

Hope is something that I have had to define for myself. There are thousands of videos and blogs and movies that talk about hope, but as I have explored this journey, I have noticed that I must define hope.

Like everything that I have discussed, there is not a one size fits all. Hope is very personal, much like everything else. So when you think of hope, think of what gives you hope and why?

During these times, there are so many reasons why we have every reason not to have hope. What I love about hope is that we can still acknowledge the not-so-good feelings and emotions. Hope (my definition) is the visions we see that allow us to see beyond our eyes.

Hope allows us to feel and see everything. We can have a bad day and still see sunshine at the end of the day.

So as we get done with this week, let's define what hope is to each of us individually.

Look to see where you're at and decide where you want to go.

Decide what stage you want to stay in or decide how you wish to move.

Either way, determine and define what hope is to you! During these times, we need something to keep us going.

As always, love you the way you love the world.

I love you all!!
